I have been going to Toni’s Sushi Bar for many years. In my opinion, it’s one of the best Japanese restaurants in South Florida. The dishes are all fresh and the staff is very friendly. Even though it is located in South Beach, it doesn’t have the “South Beach vibe”. No loud music, no pretentious staff or patrons, no fuss. Just good quality Japanese food in a vibrant environment. While browsing InStyle magazine many years ago (February 2006 issue), I came across a party guide section that included some recipes for hors d’oeuvres that were not only super simple to make, but extremely delicious, easy to serve (no mess), and very flavorful. I’ll post the other recipes in the future, but I wanted to start off with my favorite, the Tuna Tartare Chips!
